How we can help
Senior Connections Canada is developing practical, non-medical support for seniors in Smiths Falls, Perth and communities across Lanark County.
Our goal is simple: help you stay connected, independent and confident in everyday life — and help you find the right next step when your need is outside our scope.
Practical local support
- Transportation and errands — planned help with appointments, shopping and essential local trips.
- Companionship and connection — friendly visits and practical support to help reduce isolation.
- Light housekeeping and cleaning — help with everyday household tasks such as tidying, light cleaning, laundry and similar practical support, within clearly defined service limits.
- Community navigation — help finding local services, programs and useful resources.
- Practical technology help — straightforward help with everyday devices and digital tasks as this service develops.
Important: services are still being developed. We will only offer paid services once the required insurance, operating details and availability are in place.
Helping a parent or family member
You can contact us while researching options for someone you care about. We will explain what may fit, what information we need, and where permission from the senior is required.
Service providers and community organizations
We welcome conversations about referrals, partnerships, shared resources and service gaps. The aim is to complement good local services, not duplicate them unnecessarily.
What we do not provide
Senior Connections Canada is not an emergency, medical, nursing or personal-care service. We will be clear when a need requires a regulated professional or another organization, and we will try to identify a sensible next option.
How to get started
Tell us what you need. We will first help you decide whether Senior Connections Canada is a good fit. If it is not, we will try to point you toward a better next step.
